Plans for the Cornwall Islamic Community Centre
The Cornwall Islamic Community Centre will Insallah provide a cultural centre for the religious and educational needs of todays and tomorrows Muslims in Cornwall, including those that service the NHS, educational institutions and the catering industry.
We want to provide a friendly and welcoming environment for the Muslim and non Muslim community to learn about Islamic cultures and traditions. In order to do these we must pay off the balance of the bank loan so we can concentrate on the more important factors.
Our immediate plan is to raise the remaining balance of £140,000 to complete the renovation of the Quenchwell chapel. These improvements include specific areas for women's and children's groups, disabled toilets, a lift as well as an office for the centre.
